  • Wicky Wacky Woo

This week’s drink comes from my new friend, and UC Davis grad, Jessica. The Wiki Wacky Woo (WWW) is a Davis tradition dating started in the late 1990s at Bar Bernardo. The WWW features all of your clear spirits (gin, tequila, rum & vodka), similar to a Long Island, except the use 151 and then add triple sec, amaretto and 3 fruit juices. Most can drink only one, maybe two. Definitely, Wiki Wacky Woo. Thanks, … Read more

  • Lewers Lounge

The Halekulani is probably the nicest hotel in the whole state of Hawaii. It has a prime spot the beach, right in the center of Waikiki, yet has the feel of a much large secluded resort. The hotel has several terrific bars and restaurants that feature awesomely crafted island specialties. Pictured is my Mai Tai from the restaurant Orchid’s at sunset. It was delicious. We also experienced once of the best ever tuna poke’s at … Read more

One of the better uses of Google Maps API. This site has takes maps of about 20 American and pinpoints brewpubs, beer bars (as opposed to my beloved cocktail bar), homebrew stores, beer stores and breweries in town and the region. It’s color coded to boot.
