Now that the weather is warming up, it’s time to sit outside with a good book and a good cocktail. This sparkling drink combines tequila, cherry brandy, strawberries and grapefruit. So pick your favorite novel, find a good spot in the sun, and spend the afternoon sipping away!

Ingredients

  • 3 strawberries
  • 1 oz cherry brandy
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 oz fresh red grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz tequila
  • Club soda

Instructions

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberries with the brandy, grapefruit juice and sugar. Add ice and tequila and shake vigorously. Strain into collins glass filled with ice and top off with club soda. Garnish with grapefruit slices or strawberries.
