Singapore Sling

This classic cocktail originated in 1915 at the Raffles Hotel, Singapore by bartender Ngiam Tong Boon.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • ¾ oz cherry liqueur or cherry brandy
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • Club soda
  • Sugar

Instructions

Combine gin, lemon juice, and sugar in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled collins glass filled with ice. Fill with soda and float the cherry liqueur/brandy on top.
