Low Calorie Spring Cocktails

It’s Easter, it’s Passover and that means spring is here in full swing. It also is a good time to count a few calories so we can all look smashing in swim togs come summer. Our friends at Suntory makers of some fantastic whisky as well as Midori & Zen Green Tea Liqueur have put together this collection of light refreshing cocktails that are perfect for sipping and calorie counting.

Midori Lemonade (80 Calories)

1 oz Midori melon liqueur
Top with Crystal Light Lemonade

Mix and serve over ice in a tall glass with a lemon wedge garnish.

Midori Fizz (80 Calories)

Ingredients:1 oz Midori melon Top with Club Soda

Instructions:
Mix and serve over ice in a tall glass.

Zen Cooler (150 Calories)

Ingredients:
1 oz Zen Green Tea Liqueur
Top with Fresca

Instructions:
Mix and serve over ice in a tall glass.

Another tasty low-cal treat is the Zen Iced Tea. At only 150 calories and 20% alcohol level, this is the perfect cocktail for after dinner evenings spent on the porch or for Sunday brunches.

Zen Iced Tea (150 Calories)

Ingredients:
1 oz Zen Green Tea Liqueur
Top with Crystal Light Iced Tea

Instructions:

  1. Yum, these sound great! I would imagine that Midori with sugar-free lemonade would be a lot tastier for me as I find regular Midori sours to be wayyyy to sweet when made with with sugar.

  2. midori is great but has anybody tried TY KU liqueur? i just had it the other night and my friend was telling me that its a mellon based soju so its definitely slim on the calories. will you guys do a review and put up some recipes? great site!

  3. Along with Janice iv also tried tyku!!! It’s so good, I google them and found a website. And read up on some of it. They have a bunch of recipes. i recently just tried. try some out.
