Bourbon Daddy

Toast dear old Dad with this creation created by top DC mixologist JP Caceres for Basil Hayden’s Bourbon (and Dad of course.) Bourbon Daddy combines Basil Hayden’s spicy bourbon with the added kick of pink peppercorns, tart lemon juice and savory sage for a cocktail that will make any dad feel special this year.

Enjoy with Dad this Father’s Day, or if your the Dad, enjoy by yourself in quiet!

Ingredients

  • 2 parts Basil Hayden's Bourbon
  • 1 part Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 part Agave Syrup
  • 1 Egg White
  • 3 Sage Leaves
  • 4 Pink Peppercorns

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and muddle the sage leaves and pink peppercorns. 2. Add ice and shake. 3. Double strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice and garnish with a sage leaf.
