Blue Moon

Créme de violette is a pleasant and lightly floral liqueur made with violets. It adds a beautiful color and aroma to cocktails, as well as an air of old-fashioned sophistication. Try out this tempting little lavender cocktail worth mixing up. Photo courtesy of Jackson Stakeman.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce crème de violette

Instructions

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with violets.
