Black Widow

Black-Widow.jpgThis week’s drink comes to us from 42 Below Vodka. It gets it dark and spooky look from a good amount of grape juice. 42 Below comes from New Zealand (42 degrees below the equator) and is a quadruple distilled premium bodka. We haven’t tried it yet, but we’ll keep you posted once we get our hands on a bottle. Recipe courtesy of 42 Below Vodka.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz 42 Below vodka
  • 3 oz dark grape juice
  • 1 teaspoon of raw sugar
  • 4 slices of fresh ginger
  • 4 blackberries
  • 2 blackberries to garnish

Instructions

In a mixing glass, muddle together blackberries, ginger and sugar, add 42 Below vodka and dark grape juice. Fill with ice, shake well, and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with 2 blackberries.
