    Whiskyfest San Francisco was Friday. There were a lot of men in kilts but they were outnumbered by bottles of whiskey. 200 different kinds available for tasting.   • Does a Better Baseball Team Mean Pricier Beer?

    The Wall Street Journal has a fun little piece analyzing stadium beer prices against the baseball team’s record.

    What it found is that on average the more a team wins, the more its stadium charges for beer.

    Cocktail week is back again with an opening gala at Le Colonial tonight and after party at 15 Romolo. Tomorrow, Harry Denton’s Starlight Room hosts a US Bartender’s Guild National Competition with a host of celebrity judges, after party at Cantina.
