    It’s Presidents Day. Not all of our Commanders in Chief have been drinkers, but many have.  George Washington and Thomas Jefferson even ran distilleries as part of their households. Distilling and brewing were quite common in those days.

    Most of us have the day off tomorrow to honor our first president’s birthday. He was a whiskey distiller as well as a president, so we know he liked a nice drink. We’re garnishing with a cocktail cherry as a nod to the cherry tree he supposedly chopped down and then couldn’t lie about.
