On Saturday, I was invited to Garden Creek Vineyard to celebrate the release of their 2003 vintage. The family owned winery is one of the first fully-sustainable wineries in California. Our hosts Karin, Justin, Elsa, and Leif make some wonderful wine on this Alexander Valley Ranch. A setting so perfect, it almost makes me want to leave the city. Almost.

Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner and the folks at Dos Lunas sent over a bottle of their award winning añejo.
Dos Lunas Añejo is super-smooth, 100% natural ultra-premium tequila. It is double distilled and aged for eighteen months in bourbon and New American oak barrels. The bouquet is sweet with a slight spiciness. On the tongue, the añejo offers accents of warm vanilla and spiced plums. This a wonderful sipping tequila.

We just got our hands on the first Green Vodka, 360 Vodka. Made by McCormick’s Distilling in Missouri, 360 is very eco-friendly and very good.
