  • Golden Gate 75

    This Sunday marks the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge.  To honor the occasion, our friend and fellow San Franciscan, Camper English, created The Golden Gate 75.  A riff on the classic French 75, Camper replaces the Gin and Lemon for Campari and Orange Juice, giving the cocktail the same hue as the famous span.

  • The Headless Horseman

    This cocktail is usually made with clear vodka. But its Halloween-appropriate name just screams out for black vodka to make the spooky even spookier.

    Ingredients:
    2 oz black vodka
    3 dashes bitters
    Ginger ale

    Directions:
    Pour the vodka and bitters into a Collins glass. Fill the glass with ice, then pour in ginger ale.
    Garnish with a slice of blood orange.

  • Dra-Kahlúa

    Welcome to the 31 Drinks of Halloween!

    Ingredients:
    1 1/2 oz Kahlúa
    1/2 oz Martell V.S. Cognac
    1/2 oz Triple Sec
    3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
    1/2 oz simple syrup
    Blood orange wedge, garnish

    Directions:
    Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a n chilled, half sugar-rimmed martini glass and garnish with a blood orange wedge.

    The 4th of July may be over, but refreshing red cocktails are here to stay! This drink gets its bright red hue from raspberries, Campari and blood orange soda. The combination of bitter and sweet is enhanced with the subdued smoke of tequila reposado.
