Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Kahlúa
1/2 oz Martell V.S. Cognac
1/2 oz Triple Sec
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Blood orange wedge, garnish
Directions:
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a n chilled, half sugar-rimmed martini glass and garnish with a blood orange wedge.

This drink comes to us from the Pharmacy Restaurant and Bar via Kahlua. It’s the original Espresso Martini and was allegedly developed by a super model’s request to make a drink that would “wake me up and fuck me up”. This drink delivers on that promise.
