This Week’s Drink – The Last “F” You

dotw logoJohnny send us this angry, angry cocktail. It certainly has its time and place. I am not sure where, but I have visions of frat boys hazing pledges and fun stuff like that. Certainly not for the faint of heart. This is stuff that great dares are made of.

Here’s the story behind it, this all happened at Fitch’s Tavern:

“So my buddy built a bar in his basement and kept it FULLY stocked. I
went over to his house to have a few beers which turned into me trying
to drink my way through the alphabet (one drink per letter in some
bartenders bible). I ended up making it to “J” that night which I
thought was pretty impressive so i decided to make on last drink,
obviously I stood at the bar and just pointed to things for him to pour
into the shaker.

I think the order was something like 1 Triple Sec, 1
Tequila, 1 Southern Comfort and then i forgot that i had pointed at
Triple sec already so did it again. The details are kind of blurry
about how the Tabasco ended up in there, but it did.

To be honest the drink really isn’t all that bad as far as taste goes,
but you do have to slam it in order to get it all down, sipping makes
you hate life, which oddly enough is now my new philosophy in life.”

Cheers to Johnny for this fiery and creative cocktail.

Ingredients

1 oz tequila
1 oz Southern Comfort
2 oz triple sec
Dash of hot sauce (to taste)

Instructions

Mix in a shaker with ice, strain into a highball. I recommend filling the glass with ice before adding the booze.
