Hudson Highland Cup
Happy Robert Burns Day! Today is the birthday of the Scottish poet who wrote “Auld Lang Syne” (among many other things), so why not celebrate with a scotch cocktail?
The Tippling Bros developed this cocktail for a Boozy Robert Burns Dinner this weekend in New York City, and along with the folks at Highland Park, were kind enough to share it. Read some Robert Burns poems, mix this concoction and celebrate Scotland’s national poet and spirit. Courtesy of Tippling Bros and Highland Park Scotch. Photo by Christina DiLaura.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Highland Park 12 Year scotch whisky
- 1 bar spoon apple butter
- 1 oz lemon juice
- ¾ oz grade A maple syrup
- 1 dash pastis
- Hard cider
Could you please also credit 8.ate@eight — this event was a collaboration between 8.ate@eight, The Tippling Bros and Highland Park. I would be very appreciative of you referring to the event and linking to my write-up, which can be found at the link below. The photo credit is also mine, but all that I ask is that you please add that this was an 8.ate@eight Robert Burns Dinner to the write-up and a link in the “Courtesy of” line.
Thank you!
