    ByThe Barkeep October 20, 2008March 19, 2012

Turn your ice bucket into a chilling collection bones with the Fred Bone Chillers silicone ice tray.

Your Halloween cocktails and punches will be all the more frightening with frozen skulls and crossbones.

I’ve seen these a few places online and in person, but so far it looks like Sur La Table has the lowest price.… Read more

    Drink Recipes that Glow

    ByThe Barkeep September 29, 2008March 19, 2012

I’m often asked how to make glow-in-the-dark cocktails. This can’t really be done but you can make blacklight-reactive drinks and use glow in the dark accessories for some neat effects. Tonic water is made from quinine. This bitter-tasting soda-like water is made from the bark of the cinchona tree found in the Andes mountains. It was originally used to treat malaria. ByThe Barkeep September 24, 2008February 2, 2009

The makers of my beloved Newcastle Brown Ale want to send you to the Glastonbury Music Festival in England!
